Happy New Year everyone! Can you believe 2017 has come to an end and we are now entering 2018? Whoa..times flies! Nonetheless, I’m excited about the many goals I’ve created and will achieve this year. Check out a few tips below on how to start your new year off and achieve your best year yet!
Set Goals in Writing
We all start off our new year with creating new goals, writing them down makes them tangible and real. As you write down your goals for 2018, make sure to use the word “will” instead of words like “would like to” or “might.” Changing the verbiage will better help you envision achieving them. Using goal setting planners like Life Planner and the 100 Happiness-Day Planner are great ways to document your progress. You can also download free printables found here and here.
Feed Your Mind With Positivity
Read inspirational books, listen to inspirational podcasts & repeat affirmations. These tips will be sure to leave a positive impact on your mind, body, and soul. My mornings usually consist of listening to a quick inspirational Youtube video or podcast. I was recently introduced Oprah’s SuperSoul Conversation podcast, and I have been hooked ever since! Listening to positive audio messages in my morning routine, (along with my morning latte of course) gives me the motivation and confidence to get through the day.
Change your diet, change your life
We’ve all heard the phrase, “you are what eat,” well, I couldn’t agree more with it. When it comes to nutrition, what you eat is your body’s fuel and having a healthier diet will ensure more energy.
